Candy-Coated Carrots

Yield: Makes 4 servings

Ingredients

Add butter or margarine to shopping list 4 tablespoons butter or margarine

Add brown sugar to shopping list 4 tablespoons brown sugar

Add Tabasco pepper sauce to shopping list 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco pepper sauce

Add salt to shopping list 1/8 teaspoon salt

Add lemon juice to shopping list 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Add carrots, sliced and cooked to shopping list 6-8 carrots, sliced and cooked

Directions:

Place butter and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stir until combined. Add Tabasco and salt; mix well; add lemon juice. Remove from heat. Add hot, drained carrots and toss gently until coated evenly.
