Old Fashioned Chocolate Pudding

Yield: 3 cups

Ingredients

Add sugar to shopping list 2/3 cup sugar

Add unsweetened cocoa to shopping list 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa

Add cornstarch to shopping list 1/4 cup cornstarch

Add flour to shopping list 1 tablespoon flour

Add salt to shopping list 1/8 teaspoon salt

Add milk to shopping list 3 cups milk

Add butter or margarine to shopping list 1 tablespoon butter or margarine

Add vanilla to shopping list 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:

Combine first 5 ingredients in a saucepan and stir well. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until well blended. Bring to a boil over medium heat and cook, stirring for 1 minute. Remove from heat, stir in butter and vanilla. Spoon into individual dessert dishes and cover each with plastic wrap. Chill at least 3 hours.
